Dave Ramsey had a recent article titled, “Are You Losing Money By Overlooking These 9 Details?” Read his full article here.
At Union Colony Insurance, we wanted to look into some of these potential detail overlooks and see what we could find. 1. Shopping Receipts
Dave Ramsey suggests reading your receipt before heading out those automatic, sliding glass doors.

2. Medical Bills
Medical bills sometimes can be hard to explain. Dave Ramsey suggests that even if tough to decipher, if there is a red flag coming up as you are reading, ask them about it.
Here is an unpredictable medical bill expense. $83,341 for Rattle Snake anti-venom treatment with a total bill of over $150,000! He shouldn’t have been trying to take that selfie with the snake in the first place!

4. Extended Warranties
Dave Ramsey suggests to check your appliance receipts for extended warranties. What are the chances you will be buying a brand-new appliance after you just bought one? Almost none. They are usually not worth the money.
But if you come across a man named Shane at Wal-Mart, he may try to sell you an extended warranty on your fried chicken!

Lastly, Dave Ramsey suggests that you should be double checking your insurance coverage every year. It doesn’t hurt to ask!
