The 2016 Ride4Success fundraiser was met with….well SUCCESS! Lori Granberg volunteered Saturday morning with the Insurance Professionals of Weld County (IPWC) group to help over 375 riders participate in the 25 or 50 mile bike ride.

Ride4Success is an annual fundraiser to support The Success Foundation which brings together community resources to enhance educational opportunities for students in Weld County School District 6. Lori, a huge supporter of education at every stage of life, very gladly supported this cause with her fellow insurance agents of Weld County.

Here a a few facts about the Ride4Success program:

  • 2016 is the 3rd year of the annual fundraiser.
  • The bike ride starts at Lincoln Park in downtown Greeley.
  • The 25-mile bike ride takes you into the farmlands of northeast Greeley and ends back at Lincoln Park.
  • The 50-mile bike ride takes you alongside Highway 85 through agriculture lands and ends in west Greeley.
  • Over 375 bikers attended this years bike ride.
  • The bikers enjoyed a perfect day of 70ºF and sunny conditions.

Previous Ride4Success fundraisers have helped The Success Foundation raise over $175,000 which has helped their Middle School iPad Project. This project encourages the integration of modern technology into the learning process for students. 325 iPads were bought for Middle and K-8 schools to emphasize blended learning.
